Bitter-Sweet!
I have had the kind of summer that I absolutely love: filled everyday with lots of fun and people. I have not had one moment where I was wondering what I was going to do. I have been busy doing the things that I love to do: biking, running, fellowshipping etc, and I have loved every moment of this glorious summer.
This is my last week of true freedom; I'll still have lots of free time, but all of my planning will center around my job. And, for the first time ever, I am not looking forward to having to work around my job: I ADORE FREEDOM. However, I am well aware of the fact that my job is the vessel that God uses to provide for me. So, on Monday, I will get my behind up and skip and whistle to my job.
August ending and September starting is bitter-sweet, because August ending means that I no longer have total control of my schedule. However, August ending, means that September starts, and September in the DC area is completely awesome. Oh, how I love September in the DC area.
I guess this is sort of like life; sometimes, something must end in order for us to get to something that is even better. I remember how good college was, but I had to finish college in order to experience how good life really is. (Bitter-Sweet!)
Yes, I will miss my morning workouts, meeting friends for lunch, going to the grocery store in the mornings, not having to take off from work to go on a trip, taking a nap whenever I feel like it etc, but....
September is GOOD!!!!
August must end in order to get to September.....
Bitter-Sweet.....
Oh well!!!!
